Laborer II (full-time) – responsible for a wide variety of municipal public works duties including: perform maintenance of municipal grounds, parks and buildings, assist with minor construction projects, street & sewer line repairs and animal control.
Required Knowledge: Must have general knowledge of function and care of light & heavy maintenance equipment such as: backhoe, tractor, mowers and weed eaters; knowledge in carpentry, welding and general maintenance repairs and be able to operate heavy equipment and city machinery.
Requirements: Completion of High School or equivalent, hold a Driver License, read and write English.
Dispatcher (full-time) – responsible for communication between those in need and police and emergency services. This is done by taking emergency phone calls, sending out appropriate information for law information and providing accurate contact for information for affected individuals.
Minimum education: High school diploma or GED equivalent. Dispatcher certification preferred.
Requirements: Must be fluent in English and Spanish and submit to an alternating shift schedule
